Here are more details about the latest improvement and features:

The latest version of the CMS comes with an entirely updated Blocky editor.

Optimized performance

To meet the needs of creators working in fast-paced environments, release 3.8.0. comes with a complete overhaul of Blocky’s performance. Now, almost 20-times faster, Blocky allows creators to work on larger posts and manage blocks without sacrificing speed.

Interface redesign

We redesigned the entire Blocky interface to make the user experience more user-friendly and the look modern.

Quick copy/paste of blocks

Blocky’s latest version lets you select and copy/paste blocks at the bottom or top of the content you are working on.

To copy blocks:

  1. Select the blocks you want to copy.

2. Then, select the Copy blocks button.

You can paste your selection either at the top or bottom of your content’s body.

3. To paste your blocks at the top, select Paste blocks at top.

4. To paste your blocks at the bottom, select Paste blocks at bottom.

Drag/drop paragraphs

The redesign of Blocky comes with a new and faster drag/drop reordering of blocks.

Now, to change the position of a block inside the body of your post, simply hold the top left corner and move the block.

Quick access to new blocks

To improve the speed of your work, we made adding blocks to the body of posts quicker. Now, under each block, you will find buttons for quick access to the most used blocks.

Note that the quick access buttons under each block let you add the same blocks like the ones under the Most popular category in the + menu.

Uninterrupted writing inside Text blocks

Before, writing inside text blocks was often interrupted. The system couldn’t scan, recognize, and suggest sports entities under blocks without slightly disrupting/refreshing the writing process.

Now, with the optimized performance of Blocky, all this happens smoothly without any disturbance or lag time.

Updated widgets performance and look

The latest release introduces improvements to the way widgets look and perform.

Now, all widget blocks have a more compact look and:

  • display the name of the widget

  • offer preview

  • can be copied and inserted into other posts with the help of a Copy embed code button.

To be able to easily find what you are looking for is important. That’s why with this latest release we introduce several improvements to the way you search inside the CMS.

Advanced search filters inside content libraries

These advanced search filters let you perform a detailed search for posts inside Article, Video, Gallery, and Image libraries.

By using the advanced filters, you can search by tags, categories, football connections, and published dates.

To use the filters:

  1. From the navigation menu select Article (Video, Gallery, or Image).

  2. When the article listing screens open, go to the Search box and select Show advanced filters.

3. Use the Tags, Categories, Football Connections, and Date from/to boxes to refine your search.

Advanced search filters inside Media tab

The advanced search filters also help you find and add main media to your post by performing a detailed search of the images already uploaded to the system.

This happens through the Media tab of articles, videos, galleries, tags, and categories.

To use the filters:

  1. From the navigation menu, go to Article (Video, Gallery, Image, Tag, Category).

  2. When the article listing screens open, select an article.

  3. Open the article's Media tab > Toggle already uploaded images.

  4. When the Search box opens, select Show advanced filters.

  5. Use the Tags, Categories, Football Connections, and Date from/to boxes to refine your search.

Search for blocks

With release 3.8.0, we also introduce the possibility to search for the blocks you want to add.

To search for a block you want to add:

  1. Open an article (video or gallery).

  2. Go to the article’s body and select the + icon under a block.

3. When the menu opens, select the search box on top and type the name of the block your are looking for.

A new feature, the Widget page is an integration developed particularly for bookmakers and their affiliate partner programs.

Now, bookmakers can give their affiliate partners access only to the Widget page, so they can configure and embed widgets in their content.

To access the Widget page, configure a widget, and embed it into your content, follow the steps:

  1. Open the Widget page from the navigation menu.

2. When the widgets listings screens open, pick a widget, and select the Widget config button.

3. Configure your widget the same way as explained in https://media-platform.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SKB/pages/915013963 and save it.

4. To add the widget to your page/post, copy its code by selecting the green Copy embed code button.
